About Our Instructor
Michael Ting
Michael Ting is the Executive Managing Principal for Hyperion Capital Management, his family office, investing and managing Equity & Real Estate investments for family members and partners involving Middle Market Credit. The family office is also involved in Asset Management, Equity & Debt Financing Placement, Restructuring Real Estate Capitalization thru Strategic Alliances. Throughout his career, spanning two decades, he has provided execution of over $100 Billion of real estate investment related transactions.
He serves as an Adjunct Professor at the NYU Schack’s Master of Science Real Estate Program. He also serves as a Mentor for CREFC’s (Commercial Real Estate Finance Council) Education Committee providing Mentorship through educational, networking and career advancement opportunities to Young Professionals within the CRE and CMBS related verticals.
He received his MBA from MIT, M.S. in Real Estate Investment & Finance from New York University, MBA/LAW Dual Degree and B.S. Degree from Saint John’s University, and completed Citigroup Investment Banking’s Two Year Financial Analyst Credit Training Program, possessing Alternative Investments Experience & Footprint encompassing Structured Credit Products (CDO/CLO/CMBS), Capital Markets & Real Estate.
